Hook Carriages - Full Batten Systems
Hooks are special head cars with an automatic hook which clasps specific stops on the mast track in order to unload the halyard.
Two maneuvers from the Hook go down along the sail: 1 - to disengage the hook and allow the car to lower; 2 - to load the hook, which hooks onto the stop on the track.
